The community behind the mission

Wall of Honor — Decks4Vets

Every deck begins with people who care.

This is where we’ll celebrate the people, businesses and build partners who help veterans enjoy a safer way outside and a place to relax—at no cost to the veteran.

These spaces are placeholders for future donors. Get in touch to express interest; recognition begins after a gift is received and permission is confirmed. Annual cash-gift recognition reflects donations received for that year, adjusted for refunds. Materials and donated labor are acknowledged separately.

Be part of the beginning

Founding supporters.
A shared first step.

Help a new mission take root close to home. Individuals, families, local businesses and community groups can all help build momentum for our first veteran project.

People & families

Stay connected, share the mission and hear when giving opens. Your encouragement can help us reach our next supporter or veteran nomination.

More than financial support

Good materials.
Generous hands.

A safe, thoughtful build takes supplies, experience and care. We’ll recognize these contributions for what they make possible.

01 / MATERIALS

Materials partners

Decking, framing, railings, fasteners and other approved supplies can help turn a plan into a place a veteran can use.

02 / BUILD SUPPORT

Build partners & volunteers

Skilled trades, planning and approved volunteer roles bring the mission to life. Labor and service contributions will have their own acknowledgment.

Offer your skills

A planned contribution from Charley’s Decks. If involved in a Decks4Vets project, Charley’s Decks will donate its labor. This is a commitment for future work, separate from a received cash gift. Charley’s Decks is a separate building business.

A personal reason to care

In honor.
In memory.

A parent. A friend. A fellow service member. As giving launches, we plan to offer optional tribute recognition for supporters who want to honor someone meaningful to them. Names and messages will be shared only with permission.

Ask about a tribute

Gratitude, on your terms

Your support.
Your choice.

Public recognition is optional. Every contribution deserves care, whether a supporter chooses a public thank-you or prefers to stay anonymous.

Permission comes first. We’ll publish a name, business logo or tribute only with consent.

Amounts can stay private. Gift amounts will be shown only with the donor’s permission. Anonymous giving will be available when donations open.

Recognition reflects real support. Cash gifts received, donated materials and contributed labor will be recorded and recognized in their appropriate categories.

The veteran comes first. Recognition does not give a donor influence over veteran selection or access to a veteran’s personal information.
